Founded in 2014, M Squared initially focused on providing residential landscaping services. However, the business quickly pivoted to specialise in the B2B commercial sector, rapidly scaling to become an award-winning nationwide contractor. Today, M Squared is recognised for delivering high-quality turnkey external groundworks, with notable projects including the Greenwich Millennium Village, Glasgow University, and Glenkinchie Distillery. Based in East Kilbride and employing 90 people, the company has been named a business to watch in 2025, with plans to double its turnover within the next three years.
Central to M Squared’s growth has been its innovative approach to technology. In June 2023, the company partnered with Apsis Business Components to streamline its operations. Previously, M Squared relied on a patchwork of unintegrated software, which proved both costly and inefficient.
