APSIS SUPPORTS BUSINESS EXPANSION

When property maintenance company Timetra decided to launch into the construction sector, sourcing a software package was high on the management team’s wish list when planning the new venture.
Recognising the value it could bring to the business from the outset, they were determined to source the right product that would still serve the business as it began to grow.
Despite already running a multi-platform software system for the rest of the business, the Motherwell based company which is celebrating its 50th anniversary, opted to use Apsis as Managing Director, Scott Murray explains.
He said, “Moving into new build construction was both a natural and significant expansion for us and key to its success was making sure we had the right processes and tools in place before we launched.
“We were keen to try and use one system that would be suitable for everyone here and Apsis has been particularly beneficial for us. We have no dedicated Quantity Surveyor in the business and there are likely to be times when we need the QS function. However, our Project Managers are able to take on this role using the Apsis software which enables them to track project costs and that’s been really helpful.
“The training videos have also gone down well in the office as our mixed aged team means we’re all learning at a slightly different pace so it’s been good to dip in to them as and when we need them”.
